The Settings section contains core configuration options for your ChatNet installation. Access these settings through the General Settings and Chat & Features dropdown menus.
Navigate to General Settings > General
Configure basic site information and behavior settings that affect the entire platform.

| Site Name | Name of your website displayed in browser title and search engines |
| Site Description | Meta description shown on search engine result pages |
| Site Tagline | Displayed in browser title alongside site name |
| Timezone | Default system timezone (users can set their own) |
| Default Language | Language users see when first visiting the site |
| Home Page | Enable or disable the homepage (disable to go directly to a chat room) |
| Default Chat Room | Room shown when homepage is disabled |
| Auto Join Users to Chat Rooms | Users automatically join rooms without clicking join button |
| Let Members Create Rooms | Allow registered users to create their own chat rooms |
| Let Moderators Create Rooms | Allow global moderators to create chat rooms |
| Cookie Consent Popup | Enable cookie consent notification for GDPR compliance |
| Cookie Consent Message | Custom message for the cookie consent popup |
| Allow Multiple Sessions | Let members login from different devices simultaneously |
