Chat Statistics is an at-a-glance dashboard of messaging activity across your site — live totals, 30-day trends, your busiest rooms, and a filterable per-room breakdown.

Navigate to Reports > Chat Statistics

Summary Cards

Five live counters sit at the top of the page:

CardShows
Messages TodayMessages sent in the last 24 hours.
Messages This WeekMessages sent during the current week.
Messages This MonthMessages sent during the current month.
Total Private MessagesAll one-to-one (private) messages ever sent.
Total Group MessagesAll room / group messages ever sent.

Charts

ChartShows
Messages Per Day (30 Days)Daily message volume over the last 30 days — useful for spotting spikes, quiet periods, and growth.
Top 10 Active RoomsYour ten busiest rooms ranked by message count.

Filtering by Date Range

  1. Set the Date From and Date To fields.
  2. Click Filter.
  3. The breakdown table below refreshes to show only the selected period.

Room Breakdown Table

The table lists activity per room and channel for the selected range:

ColumnDescription
RoomThe chat room name.
ChannelThe channel within the room.
Total MessagesNumber of messages posted in that channel during the range.
