Reactions let members respond to a chat message with an animated emoji or icon (like, love, laugh, and so on). You can configure up to seven reactions, each with its own icon and animation.
Navigate to Chat & Features > Reactions
Members open the reaction picker on a message and choose one of your active reactions. The reaction is shown on the message with the animation you assigned. Only reactions set to Active are offered to members.
The page lists seven reaction slots. Fill in the ones you want and leave the rest inactive:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Reaction Name | The label shown for the reaction (for example Like, Love, Haha). |
| Reaction CSS | An animation class name from animate.style that plays when the reaction is used. |
| Reaction GIF/ICON | Click the camera icon to upload the reaction image (a GIF or icon). |
| Status | Active (offered to members) or Inactive (hidden). |
Click Update to save all rows at once.
Enter any animate.style class name in the Reaction CSS field. Popular choices:
| Class | Effect |
|---|---|
| tada | Celebratory shake — great for "Like" / "Congrats". |
| heartBeat | Pulsing beat — ideal for "Love". |
| bounce | Bouncing motion. |
| rubberBand | Stretch-and-snap effect. |
| jello | Wobbly jelly effect — fun for "Haha". |
| swing | Gentle swinging motion. |
Icon tip: Use a small square GIF or PNG with a transparent background so it sits cleanly next to messages.
